Kathy Thomas - Bridal Veils And Shoes Ripoff Harassment and intimidation by store owner and former employer Sterling Heights Michigan
I am a former employee of Bridal Veils and Shoes. I worked there for close to eight years. When I got engaged, I went into the store to look for items for my wedding. I found a tiara that I fell in love with and had every intention of purchasing to wear. Kathy Thomas, the store's owner, told me that she wanted to give me the tiara as a gift. Due to the fact that my fiancee' and I are building a house, we had to cut back on the number of guests that we invited to our wedding. When Mrs. Thomas learned that she was not going to be invited to the wedding, she called and demanded to be paid for the tiara. She claimed that the only reason that she gave me the gift was because she thought that she was going to be invited to the wedding. She continued to make harassing phone calls and threatened both lawsuit and to report me to the police for stealing the tiara.
She also has he sister call me and threaten to sue me as well. Mrs. Thomas has also claimed that if I do not pay for the tiara, she will come to my wedding ceremony or reception and take it. I have filed a police report, but she continues to call me and threaten to file suit.
