K&B Transportation Stay Away From These Guys-They Will Keep You From Getting Another Driving Job! S Sioux City, Nebraska
These guys put me on the north Georgia dedicated. When I gave them notice, I was told on my last day by Sean B. to take the truck and park it OUTSIDE the fence at the Gainesville, GA drop yard WITH THE KEYS IN IT UNLOCKED. I did as I was told, and 4 DAYS afterward, when they finally sent a driver to pick it up, the company supplied cb radio had been stolen(allegedly), and I was told there was also damage to the dash and some damage to the truck. They took over $850 out of my last two checks to "cover the damage". I tried to argue with the safety(?) manager Mike Rat.. that after I have dropped the truck at your drop yard, my responsibility ends. He said "I don't think so!". I found out later that not only did they STEAL money from my last checks, they also put "EQUIPMENT LOSS" on my DAC report for the radio. Most recruiters see that on a DAC, and won't call you back-no telling how many good companies have passed on me because of what this. I actually had one employer told me they said I abandoned a truck, and he was decent enough to call them back with me on 3 way while they stammered an excuse about "a new guy that didn't know".
Long story short-if you've worked for these 'people', you'd better get a copy of your DAC report at USIS.com.......
