Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have seen many complaints about this company but none took the time to fully articulate issues. Today I'm going to fully detail how they get away with what they do. Fasten your seat belt I'm about to fully expose their dirty little secrets in a way they can't defend!!!

First off I must say I was a very loyal driver to them for 22 months as far as even defending them against what were truly frivolous complaints. I did thrive their for awhile but only because I'm capable of long hours very few can handle and I'm the consumate driver in my 30th year in business. I have gone since 1992 without a citation of any type for over 22 years and never had an hours of service violation.   I will say now day dispatch can be easy to deal with but nights is a nitemare!! As an example I had 3 hours once to go 37 miles to a Tyson plant to pickup and idiots sent a cop to my truck!! Another example was had 7 minutes on my 70 left until midnight and woke up to 14 messages demanding I roll to shipper and get on break!! Trust me if work for them if on break at night shut your ringer and volume on Qualcom off or plan on never sleeping!!

The complaints about driver breaks being falsified by company are absolutely true!! The driver has no way to edit the elogs only the company can and they use it to their advantage constantly!!  Anyone can view company handbook first primary rule is driver must be present to watch unloading of product. If driver runs 600 miles overnight as example and delivers and takes 4 hours to unload if driver present entire time why is it and how is it driver is rolling again 10 1/2hours after arrived? Do the math that would require a break of 8 hours in sleeper to gain tiny bit hours left or a full 10 hour break before moving again. The balance is only 6 proving the elogs falsified by K&B and I'm honestly dumbfounded DOT has not caught the pattern by now.      k@B rarely allows a 34 hour restart get low they sit you only long enough to pick up hours to run load then unload and your stuck at customer for false break as explained in detail before.   I'm sure are questions how truck can be moved when driver out of hours, I'll address that now. Elogs are set so stay under 25 mph they do not record it until gone 3 miles in same city. Under the right conditions you can go further as long as in same city. In example I tried to make a delivery in Des Moines Iowa last year.. The customer demanded meat must go to other warehouse 6 miles away. I did it but your question I'm sure is how? Is simple I never left city limits so all I had to do was shut off and restart engine at every stoplight enroute that resets it and if dinged and stop immediately violation can be cleared as long as done immediately and truck shut off to reset it I did that several times!! That is only control driver has over elogs I rarely got even a 6 hour break.

Some may wonder why I'm exposing them. Because I just became a victim of their polocies!!    You refuse to do these things you'll be gone fast though my case a bit different. On June 12th I rolled truch I was driving due to choking incident, OK I'm human a drink caused it and could happen to anyone at anytime because we are all human. What angered me was 2 things.. 1st i spoke to Matt in safety today and told accident report had not even been viewed yet but decision to fire me had already been made? 2nd I know company has had several major accidents and after working for them I have no doubt in my mind sleep deprivation was major factor in most. Now add this to equation.. Before accident I was scheduled by them for new physical and told I had best take my blood pressure medicine 2 hours before? Huh? That error in my records may have been huge factor why decision was made before viewing report. Fact is I'm on no medicines and never was I have passed every physical ever taken without restriction!!  Even after accident when EMT examined me at scene my pressure was passable and same next day at urgent care center next day. In my opinion that was no error they were looking for an excuse to be rid of me to pay someone less is just simply the way it all adds up!!  Everything I've explained is true and proveable and I think it is long overdue DOT views driver manual and driver deliveries it will give them pattern of evidence will allow them to subpoena Qualcom records which will show company changes of driver record of duty status that can not be seen in office!!

If you are driving a commercial vehicle by law you are to mantain control of your vehicle at all times. Key words at all times! If you begin to gag on your drink driver, you have enough time to pull over. Even if you use an emergent maneuver to get it there. That's our job. And there is no other fmcsa rule standing that says you don't have full authority of your own hos. Sleep. Rest periods , off duty times on duty times. You having passed your tests to obtain your license indicated that in the drivers manual and the fmcsa handbook. Hate to tell you but you crashed a commercial vehicle and put the other drivers around you in danger. You have full control to tell Dispatcher's NO!! If it's illegal or dangerous or has safety ramifications. It's your JOB to say no. Because to be honest if you don't say NO in these type situations. There is no court in the world gonna take your side as THE ENTIRE RESPONSIBILTY LIES ON YOU AS YOU ARE THE LICENSED OPERATOR OF THE EQIPMENT! I hate to scold other drivers out here but bottom line. Your entire rant just sounded foolish. You might wanna grand your safety handbook and read it sometime. And also , unless your having a heart attack or fainting event there is never a reason to lose control of your vehicle. That is YOUR NUMBER ONE TOP JOB DUTY! Good luck in the future. Hope you find a profession that isn't so demanding . 560 mi days on elogs are easy !! It's the 660 mi days for months straight that might get to you. Maybe trucking isn't a preferred choice. 11 hr days are nothing. They have been in trucking for decades actually back in the day they were 16 hr days.
