My wife and I saved and planned for four years to build our dream pool. We regretfully hired Kevin Hudson of Hudson Pools inc. from Dunnellon, Florida. We were let down from the get go. Hes a clever salesman but a lousy professional. His workmanship and quality is less then amateurish. When we complained about painfully obvious flaws Not little things, but Big stuff. Friends and neighbors would see them and say Whats with that? Its very embarrassing. We threatened to withhold money until things were corrected. We were told the issues we had were only cosmetic and a judge would laugh at us in court when he puts a lean on our home. He made it quite clear that his contract indicates, as long as he can provide us with a pool that passes inspection within six months, how good it looks is of no concern to him and there is nothing we can do about it. The saddest part about it is, according to Florida law, he is right.

Hudson Pools signed contract with the ****s on may 7, 2008 within 2 weeks excavation, pool set and deck poured.Pool passed citrus county building inspections and built to the Florida building code.The forida building code and citrus county inspections are there for a reason to make sure florida contractors are doing there job. The ****s then defaulted on our draw due per contract.We then tried numerous times to collect draw. The ****s then refused access for two weeks.We continued on with job put screen enclosure up and again gribbins defaulted on draw.It seemed that the ****s had financial troubles. We finally recieved payment 2 weeks late and continued on with job.We put a slip resistant finish on deck and sealed with two colors.Installed hayward 2hp pump, hayward cartridge filter and hayward aqua cal salt system(top of the line equipment). we contacted the citrus county building department about the issues with the ****s they agreed to come out to job and mediate situation they said everything was to code and as it should be. We could have left the ****s without finishing but we do not do business that way we started the job and finished job with all the defaults and refusals of access.This job was done in a professional and timely manner. The pool looks good and every aspect was quality work anyone who wants to see this job check out our website www.hudsonpoolsinc.com.I also want to note to all the other business owners out there this ripoff report.com is unfair to publish anything anyone says without verifying facts and looking at job.
