I have had a account with Keybank for as long as I can remember. I had had no problems until I moved and Keybank couldn't keep up. I had a savings, checking, and loans through this bank. All of my addresses were correct in the local branches computer, however, Keybank was sending my bank statements to my old address.

I had bounced a check for being short just a few dollars, and instead of getting a notice, Keybank let me continue to use my account. I was still writing checks and withdrawling from the ATM. A positive balance was present on all my ATM receipts, so I had no idea there was a problem.

After 3 months of this, I was informed that my account was going to close. When I went to my local branch, I was made aware that every time I was paid, the deposit was just enough to cover the hundreds of dollars in service fees I was beeing charged per month. They turned me into check systems. Against my better judgement, I paid the outstanding $300 in service fees and made my account even. They still refuse to take me off check systems.

On my loan, I received a "skip a payment". I took it into my local branch where I was told to mail it in. Again, not hearing from them, I assumed it had taken care of the payment. WRONG! Again, after a credit report came up, I found out that I was behind 3 months on that payment also. Never notified.

I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago from a divorce. I just recently looked at my credit report to find out that they had included it in the bankruptcy (I'm not sure how) but are still accepting payment each month. More so, when I ran out of coupons last month to mail in with my payment, the again mailed it to the wrong address after confirming it with me at the branch. Nor did anyone say "oh yeah, we included it in your bankruptcy 2 YEARS AGO". I highly recommend that you do not use this bank at any branch, since they can't keep it straight even heading to corporate. And if you want to talk to someone of power, there is no phone number. How convenient.
