So I have a question for San Diego's KGTV Channel 10: Who investigates the investigative reporters? Melissa Mecija's personal real estate deal seems like it might be worth investigating. Melissa is an "investigative reporter" at the TV station who seems focused on her own self importance. She plunked down over $100,000 on a house that's worth about a half a million. I mean, if you're an anchor and investigative reporter, you've got to look the part, right? Regardless of whether or not you can actually afford it.

But, KGTV Channel 10, I'd like to know where she came up with that kind of money. There's something fishy going on with the $100k deposit and its disposition. I'd love to see the accounting on that escrow account. Was the money ever really there?  Or was it just kind of "Monopoly money?"

She's already kind of let the cat out of he bag by saying previously that she was able to get things that other people couldn't get because of who she was and for no other reason. Hmmm ...

Inquiring minds want to know where that $100k come from?  How about a little investigative reporting on that?

So has anyone heard from Melissa Mecija on this yet? I would hate to think that an investigative reporter who is about exposing the truth would remain so silent. I guess it's ok to expose the truth when it comes to other people but not when it comes to yourself?

Silence may be golden but there are exceptions to the rule and I think this is one of them. Melissa Mecija are you there?

This Should be Simple

Like I said, this should be simple.

If Melissa Mecija is innocent of this, documentation should be pretty easy to come by. Either she had the money and made the payment, or she didn't.

Or, it could be very hard to prove, if that docmentation isn't accessible or available. Maybe that's why this is still hanging out there. That it is, in fact, very hard to prove because it isn't real. It's funny money. It was a favor curried for influence, power, politics, whatever.

So what do you say, Melissa? This should be pretty easy to put away. Do you want to do that and end the speculation?

Who's Investigating This?

Who's investigating this allegation? I've caught wind of very interesting information and wondered if anything was being done about this. So I did some Googling and came up with this. More needs to be done to investigate this. This is the person in the public trust. We need to find out if the public can actually trust her. There's more here than meets the eye.
