I was on Craigslist looking for a boat and found this ad twice in Craigslist. **A 1999 Monterey 210 Montura Cuddy Cabin 5.7L/250 HP boat for a cheap price of $4300.** I was amazed on how affordable it was and started sending the seller emails. Well he responded to me telling me that he was out of town due to his daughter just having a baby and was not in the area to show me the boat, but that he had giving the boat to a company called KH Trading and that they were the ones doing all the handing of the sale.
So I went on line and started doing some research but all I found was good reviews, a little old not up to date one, but good ones. I tried calling the company but I just kept getting voicemail. I would email them and get my responds immediately, but I never talked to them. I would also try to call the seller, but just got emails. Well none the less I just wanted the boat and didn't want them to sell it to anyone else so I register and followed all the instructions to the tee. Well that was the biggest mistake I have ever made.
I wire transferred from my checking account into the one that they provided, and even asked the teller when I was doing the transfer if the account was to a company and she said yes, so I felt safe to do it. Well I got emails from the confirming my payment, then I got one stating that since it was the weekend that the shipping transaction wouldn't start until Monday, so I waited. On Monday I got another email stating that the shipment has begun and that it will be at my address on Thursday Oct. 3, 2013 and that day came and went. I have been looking to speak so someone anyone on this and no answers. I contacted the bank and they can't help me since I was the one willing transferring the money into their account.
I have contacted the police and they are not use. I am in the doghouse and SOL with $4300 lost! Gone in the wind! I have contacted Craigslist of San Diego and told them what they are going. Now I just wait for Karma to take its course.
