Claim a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty!!
Even 5 year 60,000 mile warranty!!
Clutch Wore out after 45,000 MILES!!
Main warranty service will not replace even though the warranty only limits the CLUTCH LINING!
Told us all parts need to be replaced and will not cover under the warranty!!
Sorry I did not buy a Toyota for my daughter. Her last Toyota she learned on at 150,000 miles and at 300,000 STILL did not need a new clutch.
Second child it headed to college --- WILL NOT BUY HIM A KIA!!

The warranty states to replace lining at 60,000. Car does not have 60,000 miles. Kia Fort Collins recommends replacing the entire clutch at $795. Also claims this is a discount--some discount!! Consumer Reports on-line states the clutch replacement is $430!! Who LIED about that!! Kia states only a few wear out!! NEVER heard of such a thing at low milage--consider it a DEFECT and WARRANTABLE item!!---I WILL SUE!!

In your Power Train warranty. Most service managers rather ignorant of this but check out your manual. Presently suing Guelph Kia. court date 8/18/04. Suggest you do the same!

Sorry to say there is not any manufacture/Extended warranty companies that will offer to paid for clutch assembly repair/replacement. The clutch is considered a wear item... wear on the clutch is based on individual driving habits. PS: The breakdown may not be clutch replacement but may be a linkage adjustment what are the symptoms.
