Kids Exchange Said my consigned clothes had stains and snags Cordova Tennessee
I have used Kids Exchange several times and gotten great returns on my clothes. Back in August 2007 I took about 15 articles of clothes in. The lady went thru them and I took all but 6 back with me. Two of the items still had the tags on them. They always inspect the clothes and are VERY picky with what they keep. I called the other day to see how much money I had in my account. I was surprised to find out I only had $13.
I asked what happened to my other items and was informed that they had donated them because of stains and snags. Well I have used them enough to know they dont even accept clothes with stains and snags in them ! So I told them to close my acct and send my check. I was told ok but there was a $1.00 charge to mail it. I get my check and it is only $9. and some change.
I feel they are lying to me. I know that the clothes I left with them had absolutely NOTHING wrong with them. Thats why I always have the lady check them BEFORE I leave them and I take back what they will not accept. I will never, ever use a consignment store again. I could have made more at a yard sale.
