When got our wedding cake from kim and ashlee's the fondent was 1/2 an inch thick and even thicker in other spots. Since it was so thick it was too much weight for the cake and it started to fall over. They added more supports and repositioned them but it was still very tilted. Each layer was a different height and not centred. There was scroll work on the ribbon that was on the bottom of each layer, even though there was not supposed to be ribbon on the cake. The ribbon was added to cover up the mistakes that they made on each layer. The red chocolate flowers on each layer also had white icing on them. To top it off they had the nerve to tell us it was our fault for the cake issues.
