I won an auction selling and authentic Louis Vuitton multi color speedy handbag. At the top of the auction page it said guaranteed authentic and had a detailed description about the bag and it authenticity. Based on this I bid and won the auction. The minute the auction ended I paid $510.00 and $25.00 shipping. When I received the bag I thought it was real as I never had another one to compare it too.

I trusted the seller's e-mails telling me I will love my authentic LV bag. After a week I noticed the stitching on my bag looking loose and I knew for that amount of money and brand name it should be better made than that. I started doing research on the bag and noticed a big difference between the bag I had bought and authentic bags the same style and make. I notified the seller asking questions and getting no answers.

When I noticed the seller was no longer a registered user of Ebay, I then asked for my money back. Her reply is what made me believe she knowingly sold me a counterfeit bag. She said she would not give my money back and she only authenticated the bag to the best of her ability and all sales are final. Her auction page never said that or I would have never bought it.

I have a copy of the auction page and it says guaranteed authentic and no where on the page does it say all sales final I've filed a claim with Ebay, PayPal and Square Trade and none of them will help me get a refund. Ebay says she can no longer sell but that does not help get my money back.

I paid a Louis Vuitton Authentication Service to check the bag at its serial numbers and the bag was deemed to be non-authentic and I have proof of that. I will be sending a copy of the auction page and the authentication services findings that the bag is counterfeit to my credit card company whom I'm disputing the charges. I was told if I send them proof the bag is fake I may get a refund.

I've contacted other buyers who have purchased items from her and she has recently offered to sell them more Louis Vuitton bags privately. My problem is how do you stop this person from continuing to sell counterfeit bags at authentic prices since a lot of hardworking people can not tell the bags are fake at first glance. Thank you
