Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I responded to an ad regarding a new career as an Independent Real Estate Consultant with FREE TRAINING.  I would be seek/identify businesses in need for commercial loans and seek/identify homeowners in need of Short Sales to avoid foreclosure.  All training provided free of charge. You get paid from deals closed (which takes 3-6wks).  The person who I came in under was a team leader.  She sends emails reminding you of the steps to follow, i.e., must meet calls to receive the training pkg which takes 3-4 weeks to receive (I was told).

1.  My leader sent me an email instructing me to RSVP and if I failed to do so, I would not receive my training pkg.  I RSVP but never received the phone number to call in for the meeting.  So, I calls Corporate on a Fridayand Terrance Smith, Owner answers.  He gave me the phone number, I called and was 20 minutes late for the meeting.  When I arrived, they talk about NEVER BEING LATE!  Well, I wouldn't be late if the instruct their Leaders to email with proper phone numbers and time of call always a day before.

2.  Well, today is Monday, it's 8:00, I have a webinar to attend with another company.  I sign in to the webinar and ask the host is talking, i decided to run a quick check on my email at the same time.  Whoa and Behold!  Guess who sent me an email earlier?  My leader, instructing me to RSVP for 8:00pm Monday Commercial Training Call or I will not receive my package.  Well, I'm on a webinar which I stopped to call Corporate.

3.  Guess who answered the 2nd time? Yes, that's right, Mr. Terrance Smith.  Very upset and rude to me for calling him after business hours.  He was over talking me and I couldn't get a word in edge wise.  By the time I was through, I heard him say that "He doesn't want me in his company." That he doesn't think this is for me.  I said, "okay," politely and hung up.  Just like that.

Now I had checked the BBB states that there are no claims against the company.  I checked the company's website and noticed under News that there are no reports of the 3500 deals he had supposedly closed.  I was a little skeptical about working for the company anyway.  I found it very strange that Mr. Smith is offering his independent contractors to join him on Sunday morning for Bible Study and doesn't know verse and scripture, only a little of what he can remember.  I haven't finished my research on the company yet, but I was going to research the Kingdom Builders so call churches to see if Mr. Smith has any relation. But since he made up my mind for me and FIRED ME before I could get started, I find no need to continue my research.  I would like to say that I find it very strange for all the "KINGDOM BUILDERS" churches to be in the south (Georgia, North Carolina).

To conclude, this man is very, very rude and doesn't need to be doing business with anyone.  Anyone thinking about doing business with him should consider completely researching this company before proceeding forward.  It would be sad to get all your training in just to find out that you're not getting paid or they close deals and tell you they did not.

Christians ripping people off

Maybe you mean people who call themselves Christians. Just because they say they are Christians, does not mean they are, a true Christian is a follower of God, and should be completely honest, if not, they are not Christians.
People need to learn what a true Christian is. Christians are given the blessing of discernment, and by God's teachings, we know when someone is of God, and when they are using God.
People use God all day long to make a dollar, and those people are not Christians, because deception is not of God, it is from Satan.

I am a very experienced individual with the lending side of the real estate business and myself am a successful note investor.

It sounds to me like you need to have your priorities in order. If you were very interested in this opportunity, you would have foregone the other call.

Calling after hours is a no no in any business. The fact that he answered the phone after hours, says to me that this is a committed person, he is interested in serving others by helping them at any cost.

From what I can see, the fact that the company is providing free training and provides a training package, again for free says that they make their money off fees generated and not off courses like so many others do.

The fact that you had some things to do before they extended the olive branch and provided what is likely a very expensive training program to you says that they want to see just what your commitment level is.

From what I can see, your not very commited to doing this and weren't all along. Also knocking a man of god who wants his team to become a product of gods inner teachings says alot about Mr. Smith.

I would have fired you too that day. Never knock a man for his religious ways.

To tampamale1982
Have you made any money with this group?
I've been on the calls and never heard of any amount anyone has made.
Mr Smith has eluded to the company making so much off of the note deals
But no one individually speaking up.
HAS ANYONE MADE ANY MONEY?

As for the preachy stuff - It may all be heart felt, etc. whatever... but ->
->BTW - The devil is in the details, too!
There are plenty of "Christians" (and non-Christians)out that that rip people off well meaning or not.

Sounds like yet another attempt to discredit a value producing company, as well as undermind the work of God.  I'm a indepedent agent out of Tampa FL for KBFG and see no fault with the owner Firing/letting you go for whatever reason or discretion he used. I mean, it is His business so move on like any other working position that says those words.   There are such things as different time zones and I'd probably be upset or treat you like a telemarketer lol calling all times of the night and plus, you said you contacted the owner and was given the conference number BEFORE it even started and was still late because of another scheduled call.  In closing, doesn't sound like you're too HOLY yourself the way you try to Knock this guy for holding a prayer meeting for his associates. the devil is a LIAR period!  I recommend KBFG all day.
