Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

As tenants of Apt 108 Bldg 210 we experienced mold issues, oven working on and off; bad sink disposal (we had maintenance come and go to fix issues after a year of living at Kingswood from 2012 to 2013).

At time of renewal of lease the letter was placed on the back door we do not open often which caused it to be late to sign and return to Kingswood. So Kingswood renewed it automatically.  This prompted us to see about moving to another apartment. The resident coordinator who no longer is there told us it would cost us $800.00. This surprised because it was not on the lease. We were told it was a seperate fee and we should have received it with our lease upon signing???  never did. We were not happy because upon telling them about the 'mold' issue Management denied our transfer because we were 'late paying rent.' And did not offer a place to reside as they fix the mold issue.

Finally, after we continually had molding in the bedroom - the last closet had the wall ripped open twice by two maintenance individuals. They just could not find the problem and just repainted the wall and left. Interestly, the second maintenace person left the hole in the wall open for two days as we slept in the room so that the water 'somewhere in the pipe area would dry. Now she would always say, she does not know where the water is coming from but is doing her best.  My husband and I just shook our heads. And at the time I was pregnant due October 2013.

Also the oven was never working when we moved in the apartment 2012.  It took a maintenance to remove the old one and replace the same one ?? not sure how this happened cause finally the oven just blacked out - the temperature thermoter was bad and replaced in October in 2013.

Now, we moved out of Kingswood Nov 29, 2013 and I got a letter from Kingswood Management stating they want their rent money.

Before the move my husband went to court to talk to the Judge October 30 2013 and explained everything to the Judge and Assistant Manager Diane Horne of our situation 'above.'  The Judge then asked our husband if he wants to stay and his response was no - he prefers his family move out of Kingswood so the Judge gave us 30 days to move. Also we did not have to pay back rent and Management want the money --this is not clear why since we were evicted and the management is saying it is not--clearly the court documents state 'eviction' why should we pay?? We need a lawyer please.
