4-29-2009 Found a 2002 Intrepid on E-Bay. Bid $4,000

I called the phone number listed on E-Bay for the car. It turned out to be a car at Tyson Ford in West Virginia. I was offered to purchase the car without going through E-Bay. I declined and thought it would be better to wait and see what the car went for.

5-1-2009

I called Chris Mentsel and offered $4,800. He accepted the offer and I made plans to pick up the car on 5-2-2009.

All papers were signed on that day including the 50% power train warranty.

5-2-2009 I drove the car to Richmond Virginia. I stayed there that night.

5-3-2009 I drove west towards Indianapolis. The car started knocking bad in between Richmond and Indianapolis; this was at 9 pm. I called to have the car towed.

5-4-2009 I called Tyson to see what they wanted me to do. Chris Mentsel said to have an estimate sent and if it was reasonable it could be fixed there. An estimate was sent on that day.

5-14-2009 Davis towing said that they found a used motor and the work would be done by 5-21-2009.

5-22-2009 I picked the car up and paid in full. The total was $1,838.49

I called Tyson Ford several times throughout the next month. One time I was told that the paperwork was turned into the warranty company and this stuff takes time. Another time I was asked to update Chris on all of the information to refresh his memory on the sale. I was put to his voice mail several times and left messages. I have not had one phone call from Chris or Tyson Ford. I have also left information on the customer service area of the Tyson Ford website. (No response).

6-29-2009 I called Tyson Ford twice and was put into Chris Mentz voice mail twice. I am not sure where to turn from here.

The county of Fairfax Virginia is working with Tyson Ford to settle the warranty issue. I will update when the payment is recieved.

VINYL LEMONS ALL OVER HIS 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID, AND THEN HE PARKED IT OUTSIDE THE DEALERSHIP & PASSED OUT FLIERS EXPOSING HIS PROBLEM! The dealership finally caved-in after he did this, and he got satisfaction after being pushed around and not getting any help from Toyota Corporation & the Toyota dealership at first. You can 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT TOYOTA VOIDED WARRANTY DUE TO ENGINE SLUDGE ON 2007 CAMRY, and read his Rip Off Report & his 'Update' telling what he did. (Putting vinyl lemons all over his Toyota Camry, & EXPOSING the problem for everyone to see!) Remember- 'EXPOSURE is a corporation's worst fear.' - Harvard Business Professor, 2004. I am not sure what to do now, I beleive I will get a hold of the attourny general in Virginia and seek help there. Anyone have any ideas?
