Complaint Review: KK Audio Inc - North Hollywood California

I am writing this report so that hopefully no one else has to go through I what I am currently going through with this scam company. I am in no way affiliated with this company or have ever been.

Where to start? KK Audio is located in North Hollywood, California. Owned and operated by Kurt Koesler and his "sales" guy "Steve". I was in the market for a new desk, which KK Audio "supposedly" specializes in. I purchased my desk in April of this year (2013). I purchased it in person, to save time & hassle (or so I thought). I purchased it through Steve, the head "sales" guy there. He showed me around their factory, we talked about everything. Everything seemed legit. I paid in cash (big mistake). The total was just under $2,000.00

I still have the invoice to prove I actually did pay for this desk back in April. He assured me the desk would be built and delivered by the end of May. That seemed reasonable, given the time it would take to build this desk. No problem.

 May ends, no desk. Ok, no big deal. June ends, no desk. July end, still nothing. Ok now I'm starting to wonder what's going on. Everytime I call to ask what's going on I talk with Steve who assures me it will be shipped out the following week. Ok I'll take your word for it Steve, you sounded genuine. August ends, once again nothing. Every e-mail I send to Steve he says something like "we've had some setbacks, sick workers, problem with parts, etc, etc, etc". Ok, I can understand if you're having issues, sure I don't think you're trying to rip me off at this point. Now September comes, more phone calls to Steve, same deal. He stops answering or replying to any of my e-mails so phone calls are the only way to reach him. "Next week, next week, next week" is all I hear.

Now comes October and still NO DESK. I'm obviously getting frustrated and feel like I've been taken advantage of. Next time I call I speak with Kurt Koesler, the owner of this "company". He GUARANTEES me (in his own words) that my desk will be shipped "NEXT WEEK". OK I thought I could trust this guy, considering he's the owner and he personally guaranteed me it would be here next week. Next week of course never comes. We are now in the middle of OCTOBER. Almost 7 MONTHS since I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR my desk and STILL NOTHING. Now I feel like I've been robbed. After Kurt guarantees me over the phone, this is the last time I hear from anyone from this company. This was about a month ago.

 They've since changed all their phone numbers. Steve's e-mail is no longer active and apparently deleted. And I am out $2,000 and still have no desk.

I have never had this kind of experience with any company in my life. One week I'm assured my desk is completely finished and ready to ship out next week, next time I speak to someone my desk is almost finished. I've gotten nothing but the run around from these guys for 7 MONTHS. I now know for sure that my desk was never even attempted to be made. They simply took my money and blew me off for months. I can only imagine how many other people they've done this to.

This company is a 100% scam. They completely stole my money and gave me nothing but lies in return. I am furious and will be taking them to court. But I'm not very hopeful for that either. I just want my money back at this point.

I'm sure once upon a time this company actually built desks for people and delivered them as promised. But those days are long gone. They flat out stole my money and went into hiding. I wouldn't be surprised if they completely closed up shop. That's not right at all. This is horrible business practice for any business. Kurt is a sorry excuse for a business owner. He's a flat out thief and liar and an all around scumbag. Same with Steve.

Do not waste your time dealing with this company. I wish I would of known better. Their products looked nice but you will never receive one from them. Hopefully I can save someone the time, trouble and money I lost on this rip off company.

Before someone from this company tries to say I'm lying or make some more excuses, this report is 100% true. I have all the invoices, e-mails, and everything else to prove it. These guys are good liars. I'll be seeing you in court, Kurt.
