I never rent a book from anywhere, I always buy straight out. However, this semester I needed a book that was pricey so I decided to rent it from knetbooks. I was late returning the book but was never notified to return it. (My final was the day before it was due so I was caught up in that.)

I checked the balance in my card and knetbooks had charged me over $300 for a used book. I had sent the book back and when I called to figure this out they had told me that the book was overdue and I would not receive my money back. They charged me the list price for a brand new book while the book i had was nowhere near worth $326. 

They told me they emailed me numerous times reminding me to return my book and that they had previously tried to charge my card without my knowledge and when I told them i received no such emails she didn't have much to say. When asked why they didn't call or mail a letter as we'll, she said email is their only correspondence which I think is b***s***. 

Needless to say I will never be renting or buying from them again and will do my best to keep everyone else from doing so as we'll.
