I got my pup from the Kool family 2 years ago and couldnt be happier with my decision! She is healthy, well socialized and her temperment is exactly as it should be. The Kools are kind people and their contract is straightforward. Parasites are very common in puppies especially when they are around several other dogs and I feel like there are multiple factors that can result in a very sick pup.
It isnt right to blame one person and jump to conclusions and try to ruin a business with out doing actual lab work on the soil/water. It sounds to me like the author of this post waited to long for his initail vet check/fecal sample. Coccidia is hard to treat and takes several days/weeks to get rid of so delaying treatment can be deadly.
New puppies should never have free roam of the house right away so not sure how the home was destroyed by bowel movements? Maybe a red flag that the author wasnt prepared/educated on bringing home a new puppy. The kools let me come out twice to visit the pups and I appreciate that. I will definatly purchase from them again!

I'm a satisfied owner of a Norther Glories malamute mix. He is an incredible dog, and was also purchased as an older puppy. I've met the owners often, and that was before I'd even considered adopting an animal from them. They are honest hard working people. A family, raising wonderful dogs.
As a business, you develop certain rules to both protect yourself, and satisfy customers. Purchasing a dog from them, and then deciding your idea of the correct way to handle it isn't an option. Plenty of information, rules, etc was given to you before you ever saw a puppy from them. I know, I've been there. Also, the packet given to you should have been read on the way home, or the moment you picked up your pup. It contained vital information. It wasn't buried anywhere, it was a wealth of information. To be honest I've rarely purchased anything that came with as much information as my dog did.
Dogs get sick, people get sick. They have many long term residents there. They wouldn't have if the facility was dirty, or unhealthy. I've been there a few times, other than mud (which is a malamute accessory) the place has always been clean. Their pups and older dogs were always clean-ish. Again mud is going to come with any malamute kept in a yard. If you don't think so, you've not owned a malamute.
Deciding later, that you wanted a different result in your return policy, does not make the Kools dishonest. There was a spelled out policy you agreed to. Some might even call it a contract. :)
I found the Kools honest and nice people. I found their facility clean, and very spacious. I also know they care deeply for their dogs. Who couldn't? they're beautiful animals. Your mileage may vary, but a sick puppy here or there is going to happen. Trashing a business isn't the necessary way to deal with it.

I have a couple question for the complainer..How long did you have the puppy before you became aware of the situation???? If it was several months later or even a month???? If you are a reponsible dog owner you would of had your puppy within a week to the vet for it's updates on shots and a physical and if that would have happen the VET would have fould there was a problem....RIGHT. I have gotten two malmutes from Kool Alaskan Malamutes, now Northern Glories and both within a week they had a physical and NOTHING found with any concerns and normally Kools like you to have your pet spayed or neutered right away so you normally as a RESPONSIBLE DOG HAVE THAT DONE NORMALLY WITHIN A MONTH. By reading your complaint it sounds like months after your puppy/dog was found to have a promblem??? is that KOOL PROBLEM....NOT you asd a dog owner are RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WELL BEING OF YOUR PET. I own 3..YES 3 Alaskan Malamutes and 2 were from Kools and there have been no concerns and are healthy as ever. Maybe you the complainer or the competitor have issuse at your household and that is why the pupy/dog has a problems. COMPLAINER..IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE DOG DO BUY ONE,THAT MEANS REGULAR ROUTINES TO THE VET AND NOT ONCE EVER YEAR OR TWO. I will again purchase another Mal from now Northern Glories.JUST MY 2 CENTS

I think Northern Glories/Kool Alaskan Malamutes is a wonderful place to get a dog from. I got my dog from there, and she was in the finest of health when I had gotten her, and she still is. My dog has gotten vet visits since I have gotten her and like I said, she is still in excellent condition! She's a very happy and sweet dog! The Kools family provided fantastic information to me, and answered all of my questions really well! Their dogs are wonderful conditions! They really care about the people who get dogs from them and they really care about their dogs. I got to meet a lot of the dogs there (other than my dogs parents, who are really amazing dogs too) and all the dogs were really sweet and kind! And they are all in wonderful health and excellent living conditions! Northern Glories is a wonderful place to get a dog from. I would love to get another one from them!
Also, a few of months back I had a family emergency. I had no one else to watch my dog, and I needed someone to look after her for a while, so they looked after her for me. And when I got her back she was in the excellent condition she has always been in! As you can see, they really care about their dogs and the people who get them!
Whoever made this ripoff report is probably a competitor just trying to make another breeder look bad, and that is very low of them.
Here's a couple of pictures of my lovely, extremely healthy, happy dog that I got from Northern Glories/Kool Alaskan Malamutes!

Kool Alaskan malamutes offer fine Alaskan Malamutes. We have gotten two from them and both were puppies when we purchased them and neither had any concerns,Kools were very upfront with there information and the dogs were checked over by the vet. Anyone that has a complaint either is a competitor or just basically complains about anything to get something for nothing.Kool Alaskan Malamute is a great place to get a pet from and will get another one when the time comes.
