There's really nothing else you can say about this shady "marketing" firm. They seem like they have the best of intentions when you try to "work" for them. I did enjoy your term of Laboring for them because that's what you do. You get up every day and start work from 9am to 8pm and then you get up and do it all over again. I only say 9 am because you have to be in the office by then so you can go over "marketing" strategies and practice pitching to each other so that we can all have the hopes of running our own office one day. Now at first I didn't care I used it as a learning experience, but after about three days of the same thing over and over again I just got annoyed by the whole deal. I just couldn't see getting up every day at 6 to get to an office in Cherry Hill, NJ (seeings that I was coming from an hour away and still have a family to support) with about 40-45 people crammed into a little a*s room while I see other future "managers" sitting in the lobby being completely duped by the ad that they just answered on some random career search website (I will keep them nameless because it's not the websites fault). It was really just a sad sight to say the least. I can say it was sad because I was one of those same suckers. Now I'm sure that there are people that can actually make it in this kind of environment where you have no social, family or general human interaction aside from the rotating people that come in and out of the office and the countless people that you must harass to get a free estimate on Windows and siding. Now DJ I do have a question for you did you get to have the reps from Power come and give you a pep talk about how great a job that this company does for them and how what we do actually accounts for something in the world or was I the only lucky one? Cause I'll tell ya that was such a delight it made me want to quit right then and there, but I waited till the next day hahahaha....What was really funny was that one of the reps looked like Jon Stamos' younger more down syndrome inflicted brother.... So this is my story. I hope someone else shares theirs later.....
