Kustom Transmissions is thoroughly dishonest. Ripoff! North Fort Myers Florida
A dishonest owner "Ken' of this transmission shop charged $950.00 to repair a transmission, (reverse was slipping). He requested cash 'under the table'. I stated I could not do this. After repair, he stated he could not verbally or in writing indicate the work done to transmission, because he could not remember and issued a blank receipt, but charged my credit card.
Returned vehicle for same problem during warranty period...repaired temporarily. Months after warranty...the same problem... total of 8000 miles driven since initial repair. One owner "Mark" promised to repair for 'parts only' if needed. Refused to issue any written estimates.
After this repair, co-associate 'Ken' stated he did not remember speaking with co-associate "Mark' about repairs, but now requested $950.00 again (minus $200 due to being a repeat customer.
Shop will not release vehicle. I feel the public should be aware of the extreme dishonesty of partners working together in crime.
