L. B. Andersen Co. is a realtor in the suburbs of Chicago. I rented an office from them in Forum Square on Milwaukee Ave. in Libertyville, IL and was fairly happy with the service. Upon deciding to terminate the lease I was forewarned that they would not return my security deposit but unfortunately I did not take heed.
I spent a lot of effort cleaning and getting it in ship shape. My agent Mike North told me on his walk through it looked "very nice". I spackled every hole and every light worked. Yet they did not return my deposit and no one knows why, and they have no intention to.
I asked my neighbors Brain Storm Media if they got the deposit back when they left a couple of months earlier and one of the principals reported they were also ripped off.
If you decide to rent from L. B. Andersen Co. I would strongly suggest you do not pay your last month's rent since they have a history of keeping your security deposit.

Landlord returned my security deposit

After three months of me calling the landlord's agent took another tour of my vacated office and got the powers that be to refund my security deposit. So I am now happy again. I would recommend this office complex and had no other problems.
