Complaint Review: LA Fitness - Irvine California

I completely agree with the problem staff that LA Fitness has had (I haven't worked out there in a few years, so I cannot comment to what it's like now). The female manager who used to work there asked a friend of mine to pay her bill in cash and she stole the money, then disappeared.

To the person who said the trainer that stole the money was David: You are completely mistaken. He has been a member there but NEVER worked for them. He would of had no way to charge someone's card through LA Fitness.

Pathetic, suburban gym gossip. You post this as if you know who he is, yet you don't know his name. I don't know where you're getting your information but thank God you don't know how to spell or that could of been very embarrassing for him.

New gym member signed up for sessions with a personal trainer that works at the Gresham, Oregon La Fitness Gym. This trainer charges her account, $2,000 dollars instead of the $200.00 dollars. When the ladie's bank rejected such a large charge from her bank account, ( it put her into NSF over-draft fees). La Fitness would do nothing about fixing it. They just kept 'hitting her account" to take the $2,000 dollars out. This story was written up in the Oregonian Newspaper in February 2008, at that time the newspaper wouldn't say who the "Trainer" was...but we found out.... Dave Bourous One time owner of Gold's Gym...until he had legal trouble over there in 2007...playing hankie pankie with the young female gym members and employees. Story is, he has two (2) sexual lawsuits pending in Oregon courts. Suddenly, we notice that the "management" Matt and/or Jeremy has vanished from the daily operations at the Gresham location. This Gresham branch of La Fitness has had problems from the beginning, the origonal manager--in 2004, turned out to have 2 felon warrents out for his arrest in both California and Arizona. The census is, that La Fitness knowing hires problem employees, and then just moves them around when they get into trouble with the law. The lady did get her money back, but not before hiring an attorney and having the Oregonian tell her story.....
