Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Ladys legacy equine rescue is partly a huge sham, they do help the horses they bring in however they are allowing the rescue to fund their personal horses as well. That is not right. They own 7 horses of their own and are using donations to pay for all of their care. They only have 2 rescues yet claim that the grain bill is 500-1000 a month! And that hay is 1700 a month. At 5.50 a bale that is not total costs for 2 rescue horses. That is for their own personal horses which is fraud! The president kaitlyn was fired from her job and has not worked in several months and has no intention of finding a job. She wants to play with her own horses and have suckers donate to the rescue to pay for it. I beg you realize this and stop donating to these people!

Jealousy is a sad thing..

It makes me very sad to see people  attack a wonderful rescue. I am a volunteer at LLER and I see where the money goes. I see the many lives saved by these great people and I feel sorry for the the person that is so riddled with jealousy and hate that they would go as far as this which would only hurt the horses in the long run. LLER is doing AMAZING things and saving alot of lives, which by the way we just saved two drafts from slaughter who are in QT and I cant wait to meet them. Please do not listen to this sick, jealous, angry person...hopefully they will find another vice.

First off, lady's legacy can use ANY HORSE THEY WANT at THEIR events. Who are you to dictate which horse they can bring to an event? Diesel is a gorgeous horse and is great wih the noise, children, traffic and basically bombproof. What idiot would bring a rescue horse whose been at the auction house or abused to an event with loud noises!?! That's a disaster waiting to happen. They are SMART to use diesel he is eye catching and the public LOVES him. Maybe you should get an eye catching horse as a mascot rather then b**** about somebody else's success. They don't make money off Diesel, HE MAKES THE RESCUE MONEY! All the money raised at events is the RESCUES MONEY. What is so difficult to understand about that? Please, come to an event Azela Le, so that they can personally deliver you the cease and desist letter drawn up by their lawyer. Bring your friends as well, since a letter is drawn up for each of them too! I will support this rescue and fight for them because this is RIDICULOUS and fueled by jealously. Get over it! LLER is successful and your rescue is not. No need to bash them for their success! get a life! They asked me not to post on her because it is childish and I agree it is but I will not sit back and watch these losers try to destroy a wonderful organization that my children and I visit weekly!!!! We love you Lady's Legacy!!!!

STOP ATTACKING A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION

In response to AZELEA

I personally have volunteered at this rescue for months now. Nothing they do is illegal. I have been to many of thier fundraisers. They are friendly, the horses look immaculate and the facility is gorgeous. They share thier story with everyone who comes in the barn. They did not use the woman you speak of. At a volunteer meeting I attended they shed some light on thier history and it turns out they bent over backwards for this woman. They don't bother with her anymore and they don't understand why she and her friends continue to attack them. They have put that FAR behind them and dont even mention it anymore. The obsession you people have with LLER just goes to show they have made thier mark in the industry. I honestly feel bad for LLER that they have to deal with this, but, that is the horse world. I will continue to donate and support them because I have been to thier facility and I KNOW what they are doing is completely LEGAL. They have an accountant, lawyer and even a veterinarian wanting to be on the board of directors for this wonderful organization. Boarding for a cause is legal, they have broken down all of the information regarding the program and even have praise from other 501(c)(3) organizations for implementing it. I suggest you find bigger "fish to fry". They pay for thier personal horses out of thier own pockets!!! They ALL HAVE JOBS OUTSIDE OF THE RESCUE. FULL TIME JOBS!!! Unbelievable. If you don't personally know the organization or have been there, you dont have the right to speak of them, when you know nothing about them! I love LLER and all they do and I will continue to support them despite all of these false accusations!

I was also informed that the woman who is causing them all this grief used the money they paid her to adopt a horse to buy hay for her PERSONAL HORSES. She has personal horses and a boarding facility...why is it wrong that LLER has one too?? especially since LLER is doing everything by the books.

Lady's Legacy is very shady and taking part in illegal deals

The people running Lady's Legacy are extremely shady. They claim they aren't using recue money for thier personal horse, but they bring a personal horses to fundraisers and they put out donation boxes in local stores that have photos of their personal horses on it. Just ask some of the people who've visited the rescue. They'll tell you all their looking for is money to line their pockets so they don't have to pay for their horses.

On top of that, the boarding for a cause they have is extremely ilegal. Boarding is a service and can not be tax deductable or tax free. I feel bad for the boarders that will be audited when tax season comes and brought up on legal charges.

They tell you to check out their facebook page to show how great a rescue they are, but if you write a complaint or question them on something that's wrong they delete your post and then block you because they don't want to admit they're wrong.

Do not trust these people, they will scam you and take what they can from you so they don't have to pay for any of their horses themselves. They are making a lot of enemys in the horse industry and you don't want to be part of any of it.

Lady's Legacy Equine Rescue is NOT a sham

These comments were made by individuals who obviously were unhappy with thier experience with either the board of directors or the rescue itself.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with guidestar. We are completely transparent and offer all of our financials to the public for review. We currently have 5 rescues, 2 of which are pregnant! We never made a statement that hay was going to be $1700 for the month, our grain bill IS between $500-1000 FOR 4 MONTHS WORTH OF GRAIN FOR THE RESCUES ONLY, so that was not a lie (the poster must have read the comment wrong) We feed tribute grain. We DO have 7 personal horses between the 3 directors. They are privately owned and do NOT benefit from the donations made by the public. They are taken care of PRIVATELY. As for the job status of the board of directors, that is nobody's business and does not affect the rescue in any way, shape or form. Unfortunately, this is the way people behave, posting defaming "reviews" based on lies and assumptions. We can only hope that anyone who is seeing this review, will visit our facebook page, website or email us for ANY information you would like to know. We will gladly respond. Our Tax ID# is 47-2241652.
