Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I joined LaFitness and later added my Husband.  They promised upon joining three free training sessions but this got worked into a high pressure sells pitch on day one. I don't usually sign contracts like this but he promised if I cancelled later they can not collect. They might call me but they can't collect. I never saw a contract just a pen pad to sign my name. My husband has a torn shoulder ligament and cannot use this training anymore so I canceled. I also started paying my monthly dues in cash. They red flagged use not allowing us to use the facillity anymore even though I was paid in full for the next 6 weeks..

I asked them why the red flag and they told me they wanted a credit card on file. I told them I did not have one and what is wrong with my cash? They took my money that day which paid me up for one more month in advance ,but still I can't use.

I'm now get harrashing phone calls for the training sessions that I canceled.  The manager there, Shanon, told me it was the same as buying a car contract. I told her I can own a car. It's a piece of property. I cancelled my membership there and they still want me to pay for training services not even given to me.. I can't even use my, last paid for in advance, membership days. They have a win win at your cost attitude..Please stay away from this company.

Any company that thinks they should have access to your personal credit card accounts or back accounts  stay away..Your cash is not good enough. Also ,my dues were $29.99 a month but I was always debited $32.70. They said it was the fee for the debiting of monthly payment. That's when I canceled that account and paid in cash the next month. They charged the same fee again even though I paid in cash..  Now how was taking cash a problem.

They are harrashing me for training sessions they won't give to me because I had to cancel my membership due to them not wanting to take cash payment for monthly dues.  Overcharging me for monthly dues was also wrong.  I feel as though I was forced to cancel due to them red flagging me.  If I'm not a member there how can I get what they are trying to make me pay for? I don't understand how a company can stay out of trouble with the BBB.
