Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had my water turned on October 30th for a home inspection of a house I was looking to purchase. I gave them my then current address for billing purposes. They are also in charge of trash service and I was told that it would not begin until I called them, since I did not own the house and nobody lived there. They also wanted to know if there were trash cans at the residence because if not, they would have to order them and it takes a while for them to come in.

A month goes by and I have not received a bill. I also have not closed on the house at this point. I was over there checking on it and one of the neighbors informed me that she had received a disconnect notice for my address. No mail was being delivered at the time so I guess the mailman delivered it to her. I went up there immediately and paid it. There was a late fee that they wouldn't take off, even though they screwed up. I asked about trash service at this time and the lady at the front desk told me to just set my cans out and they would begin service.

On my next bill, which was for the previous month, I was billed for trash service. Come to find out, I had been billed since October 30th for trash pickup for a house I did not own and that nobody lived in. I didn't know this though because the only bill I received was a disconnect notice which didn't itemize everything. I called about this and was told billing for trash pickup begins as soon as the water is turned on. They didn't even know if I had trash cans yet they begin billing?

So not only are they incompetent, but they are also liars, not to mention rude.

I urge everyone to complain about these people. I am not the only one who has had terrible experiences with them. In fact, I have not talked to anyone who has something positive to say. But since they have a monopoly, we have no choice but to deal with them. Since it's election time, I will be contacting my council members and mayor to see if something can't be done about these people. I hate to see people lose their jobs but when you lie to people to their face, you don't deserve to have one.
