Lake lanier club Security, Gated Community, Pools, Loud College Parties, Gates never work, Pools College Frat Steroid Drunk Fest Gainesville, Georgia
Secure Gated Family apartment complex- think again. Front gates never work, they will fix them and within 2 days someone has ripped the arm off the gate which only allows 1 car at time come through the gate. Now 3 cars can run through every time 1 person uses their pass. Also, especially on weekends there is a line of cars waiting on someone to come out, up to 3 cars can enter once the outgoing car passes through the gate. I have lived here 3 years and the gates have worked a total of 4 weeks, they are a joke.
My building has 3 groups of 19-20 year old college kids that like to think this is the Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach, FL during spring break 2 or 3 nights a week. Calling security is a waste of time. Calling the office is pretty much a waste of time. 9 out of 10 times you will get the answering machine then you have about a 20 % chance they will call you back. To reach them you just have to call over and over. Funny thing is when you go there in person they are never that busy, I guess they only have 1 person to answer the phones the others are to good to do something like that.
The beautiful pools, good luck getting a seat they are the towns high school and college hangouts. Now you get this letter and they say they will enforce tenants plus guest only. You will never see a member of the staff there. They might send the grounds keeper to walk through after they get 10 or 20 complaints. All he does is walk through were they rowdies calm down for 5 min then back to party time. Thats the upper pool where Management sitting at their desks look out and over. The Lower Pool forget it. It is the college frat boy on steroids let me show you how loud and obnoxious I can be pool. Nothing but steroid college age guys who don't live there running around, seeing who can be louder, drinking, cursing, trying to impress the Ladys and I use the term loosely. There should be a no-one under 21 sign posted and strictly enforced for what goes on here. The car wash is a joke. And hope you love CATS because they are everywhere. They will post signs to have your cat put up because they will have animal control here 1 day to catch strays. Never effects the population of abandoned, stray cats wandering the property.
I am moving when my lease is up, the management is rude and hard to reach.
On the plus, the maintenance personal are top notch, they respond right away and are very courteous and fix repairs right away. Ground crews do keep the grounds in top notch shape.
