L'Amore Bridal and Formals Ltd. Bridal & Grad Show Rip Off - Don't trust this company with your money!! Kelowna, British Columbia
Delia, of L'Amore Bridal and Formals in Kelowna BC runs twice yearly events to showcase their products for brides and grads. This event is run in a local venue and tickets are sold to the event. In addition to having a fashion show this company also sub-lets booths for vendors to showcase products. I have a jewelry business and wanted to hold a booth for this event. I was told I would have to pay the full price of the booth, almost five hundred dollars to reserve my space. I was never given a receipt or a contract for this charge, which was made immediately onto my credit card. Two months before the show I realized I became ill and realized I would not be well enough to be in the show. I contacted her regarding this issue and she thought I was a new customer so she told me that the show would for sure be sold out by the weekend. I informed her that I had already paid and wanted a refund for my booth. There didn't seem to be any problem with her getting exhibitors for the show. She refused. The show ran on the weekend and was full yet she still refused to give me back any of my money even though she had no empty spaces at her show. She is a ruthless crook and I think everyone who lives in Kelowna who is either planning a wedding or would like to have a space at her twice yearly show should think twice before risking your money - if you have to cancel your money will be gone. Don't believe a word she says - she is a liar and a thief. I am going to do a charge back on my credit card but I think everyone needs to be aware of this company who takes advantage of people and has no compassion if you are ill.
