As reported on local television, this incident involves a customer who took her vehicle into LARRY MILLER DODGE in Peoria, Arizona for some tiny, near-meaningless repairs - the tires needed to be checked for air pressure.  While the vehicle was in their custody, a careless repairman took the car out for a spin and crashed the vehicle into a light-pole.  Larry Miller's people first tried to deceive this female owner claiming that it was no more than minor front end damage.  Upon the customer's inspection, it was determined that this beloved, favorite vehicle was TOTALLED!   The rest of this story is that Larry Miller Dodge didn't make the situation right, offering only to pay off the still outstanding loan and bit of short change to make it good....which it didn't.   Then, with unmitigated nerve, they suggested that Larry Miller Dodge would happily sell the customer a new vehicle and give the customer a "good deal".   This incident has prompted nothing but hateful anger against this dealership on public internet forums and was reported on ABC's Channel 15 on-your-side newscast.  Then the dealer tried to brush it off to the TV crew by claiming they had fired the repair person who totalled the vehicle.   Wow!!!  The real scumbags was the dealer in failing to make this good customer "whole".

Subsequent to this incident, all kinds of people have come out of the woodwork to tell their Larry Miller Dodge stories - all horrifying, especially a music educator who alleges that Larry Miller Dodge's employees stole her wallet she had left in one of their offices.  Upon returning, Larry Miller Dodge told this (another female)  person that yes they had located the wallet and asked her to wait whilst they fetch it.  In just a few minutes an employee informed the customer that they never found any such wallet.  The customer lost $400 in cash, debit cards, family photos, but she hasn't lost her disgust for this dealership.  One person stated that by just going into their showroom, you can nearly "smell the sleaze" and have this overwhelming feeling to turn around and run out the building and go somewhere else.  Larry Miller seems to have a similar reputation in Salt Lake City, Utah where the company apparently is headquartered.
