LAS VEGAS DREAM FOUNDATION, LLC This company contacted me yesterday and said I won $350,000. RIP OFF LAS VEGAS Nevada
I was contacted by the "US Federal Trade Commission" in Washington DC yesterday. The rep said that I had won $350,000 last year and never claimed it, but that I could still get the prize if I contacted the CEO of the foundation in Las Vegas to confirm and receive the money in form of cashier's check next day.
The CEO of this "foundation" called me shortly after this to confirm the prize via my claim number. He even said that I would receive in the "package" the cashier's check drawn on Bank of America, a tax form for the IRS (signed, dated, and returned), and a separate cashier's check for the insurance required by the Federal Trade Commission in order to send the money to me.
He further recommended that I use Lloyds of London as the insuring company who would charge 1% for the service. He also suggested that I open an account in a bank as a portfolio account, or set up a money market account. I decided to check the situation out on the internet this morning, and as I expected, I saw another complaint submitted yesterday from someone in Los Angeles CA.
In these hard times for everyone, and being disabled, and my car just got reposessed, and I have $0.08 in my wallet right now -- this is a very cruel thing they have done to everyone they have contacted. I am on two anti-depressants per day, because I am severely depressed anyway. I see a psychologist and a psychiatrist every month. I take ambian so I can sleep at night. I feel like I am going to have another nervous breakdown anyway. If anyone out there can stop these people; ie, the FBI for fraud or something, they deserve to do some time for what they are doing to people.
