I ordered online a 12 pound bag of Uncle Bens rice from Lau Mart, for $12.32 delivered. I paid with a Visa card, and they charged my account within 72 hours of the date of my online order. The charge appeared on my bank statement as "Store ID 9 Oberito.com". I did receive an email order acknowledgement, but then I never heard from them again. Two weeks after I ordered, I sent them two emails to both of their listed customer service addresses, requesting an order update.
But I received no response. I then phoned their listed phone number at 786-529-8519, multiple times during business hours, but that number is never answered. Thank goodness I paid with a Visa card, which gives me consumer protection and recourse. I will contact Visa tomorrow, and begin the process of obtaining a refund. I would recommend that no one do business with Lau Mart.

The Visa card I used to pay for this original LauMart order was just hacked.
LauMart, or the other portions of its CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE jus attemped to charge my Visa card for (1) $593.52 at TRANS19034058 LAS VEGAS, and (2) $553.72 at TARGET.COM MINNEAPOLIS.
My Visa card issuer declined both charges, and contacted me immediately. The Visa card was cancelled. Within 24 hours I will be contacting my state Attorney General Office, Fraud Department, as well as the same at the Better Business Bureau; and any additional appropriate agency.
Again, I would certainly recommend that NO ONE do business with Lau Mart, ever.
