I had performed web design production work from 2/6/05 - 4/12/05 and had totalled a bill of $742.50, which hasn't been paid to this date (6/5/05). I had called several times, left three voice mails, several email messages and no one had returned my messages.

Unfortunately Learningware, Inc. and Dan Yaman are not registered with the Better Business Bureau so I could not even file a report.

I had also found out that several Minneapolis contractors that they had not been paid thousands of dollars for work they had done on various projects in the past few years.

I also have information that their own employees have had delayed paychecks for several weeks due to poor company performance and there was a lack of cash flow to the company. Employees have even left the company because of uncertainty of not getting their paychecks. If you need specific names please contact me.

Fortunately I have a signed contract from Learningware, Inc. which I will use as evidence in small claims court in late June of 2005. I will also work with a collection agency to get this money.

I would highly recommend that professional contractors do NOT work with Learningware, Event Think or Live Spark of Minneapolis since they do not pay their contractors and make false promises.

If you are a business I would not recommend their services. If a business doesn't communicate and pay their contractors, they will probably not be the best company to do your presentation or computer based training with. Do not invest or do business with Learningware, unless you want to take chances with your investments.

Payment Made They ended up paying me

They ended up paying me for my work in full. Still, it was delayed for months. I still stand by my comments that they had poor communication. I have done work for over 50 clients doing websites, brochures, branding, marketing materials, etc. I have never run into a business like this that completely ignored their workers and delayed payment. I would still be cautious when doing business with them. I will no longer do business with them because of it.
