Lease Finance Group They have withdrawn payments from my bank account after my lease was over and still expect me to pay even tho the contract is up and I sent the credit card machine back to them according to the lease Chicago, Illinois
I had a 48 mont lease with this company for a credit card machine. My lease was up on December 10, 2012. I faxed them a letter on 11/10/2012, 30 days prior to the end of the lease as stated in the contract to tell them I wanted to end the contract and send the equipment back to them. After several emails and 45 days, I still had not heard from them for an address to send the equipment back.
I noticed they withdrew another payment from my bank account the end of December and explained to my bank what was going on and I had them do a reversal on the payment. I found their address on the BBB website and also noticed they had over 500 complaints filed against them and they are under federal investigation right now.
In January of 2013, they withdrew another payment from my bank account. Again I signed the papers at my bank to have it reversed but it has not gone through as of yet. Lease Finance Group has been calling my business and home daily saying I still owe them money for the end of the lease.
They withdrew 48 payments from my account and there was nothing else in my lease that said I owed them anymore than that. I sent the equipment back to them and have the signature of who signed for it and I included a letter and a copy of the lease in the box. They still continue to harass me daily about this and will not listen to anything I have to say.
