I ordered the Internet toolbox in November of 1998. I was then hooked up through the Internet toolbox with End70 Corporation. I signed a contract, not with end70 but Leasecom. I was 19 years old at the time and naive. Being a full time student while also working full time I did not have a lot of time.

I spent 20 days working on my web site but I could never see it on the Internet. For that whole time I was talking to my customer service rep. John. John was continually giving me the impression that I was doing something wrong.

On the 20th day I was sent to technical support and informed by them that I was not "allotted any disc space". They corrected the problem. When I asked for compensation for my troubles I was told that I would not receive anything because they fixed the problem when they found out about it. I was angry.

Later I spoke to another technical support rep (name ?). He said that he could understand my anger and said that I would receive a service that would list my web site with all the major search engines. I was later told that they didn't have that service and I would receive nothing.

After a short time online my site was lost. I did not call right away because I was afraid that they would tell me that it was my fault. Frankly I did not have time to be transferred all over.

I finally sent an e-mail to the customer service rep listed on the web site at the time. He forwarded it to the CEO of the company Damian Zamora. I received an e-mail from him instructing me to call on Tuesday. Mr. Zamora was out of the office on Tuesday and the next two weeks after.

Mr. Zamora called me at my job a few weeks after that. We ended up in a heated argument. When I asked for my money back He replied "That is not going to happen". He not only refused the refund he also belittled me with his comment "Samantha, why are you screaming I can't hear myself think"

After that conversation he said that since my membership was over with my wholesale distributor he would send me a check for $100.00 to rejoin. He also said that Natalie would be there to help me with all my questions. Well I left many messages with Natalie and never heard back. Two years later I have not received a check from Damian Zamora.

To this day I do not have a web site and I have paid out $3800.00 to Leasecom, $600.00 to Card Service International, $200.00 to End70, $200.00 to register my website to search engines, 70.00 to register for a domain name and other money for advertising. I will be paying $1200.00 to settle my account with leasecom in Feb. That is $6070.00 that I consider stolen from me.

I have written to the Better Business Bureau of California and the Attorney General. I live in New York. The attorney general will not help me and the BBB is useless after the fact. I can't sue without hiring an attorney certified in California. Apparently California attorneys don't deal in Internet law.

Did anyone have these same problems please write to me. Tell me what you are doing.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!
