I leased credit card processing software and Leasecomm facilitated the lease. The lease was for 48 mos and was directly billed to my credit card (even though I only used the software for about 3 mos - I couldn't cancel the lease). At the end of the lease, they continued to charge my credit card. I wrote them two letters and got no response. I finally reported it to my credit card company and got some of the money refunded. I still heard nothing from Leasecomm. This was in 2001.

Fast forward to this month and I've applied for a home mortgage. Low and behold, what does my credit report show? Twenty-five - yes 25 - late payments to Leasecomm and it's reported as a collection account with a balance due of over $700. I NEVER received any correspondence regarding either late payments or collection, even though they had my current mailing address.

I've sent two letters to them and an e-mail this week. I've also reported them to the Better Business Bureau and have gotten NO response yet. My next step is to hire an attorney. They have RUINED my perfect credit!!!
