I bought a 2002 jeep liberty not even 2 weeks ago which

Drove nice and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I signed

The papers and left were nice people when purchasing the

Vehicle. A couple days later went for a drive it was hot out

So the air conditioner was on. Stopped to get a drink and

When the passenger got in the the carpet was soaked and

Lots of water I mean lots. All the way back to the back seats

Carpet. So we turned of the conditioner and sweated are way

Back home and didn't run the ac. Called legacy and got an

Attitude when I told him what happened. He would get to it

When he could. So pulled the carpet back to dry it out. I would

Take it to him in couple days when he could look at it. I went

To work without runnin the cooler then it started white smoke

Out of tailpipe and it was running barley. Had to put it in neutral

At the light just to keep it running. Just tryin to get home from

Work I seen an auto parts store so I stopped and they di a diagnostic

Which they said spark plugs so got those changed out and they

Were really bad. Didn't change anything. Called David and let him

Know what was goin on now. Someone must of got out of the wrong

Side of the bed. VERY RUDE AND NASTY. I didn't think the jeep

Would make it to his shop I asked if he could picked it up. NO

so drove it down come to find out needs new motor which my cost

Would be 1700 plus labor. And cost of ac fixin. I didn't even get 2 weeks

Out of this he got 1000.00 down now wants more money to fix it. He will

Not give my deposit back. But he said I could get another vehicle but I

Would have to put another 1000.00 down and he would drop the first note

But if I didn't take the broke down piece off $$$$jeep I still

Have to pay the note even though I have to threw a ton of more money in it

You better check your fuel supply...that might be the problem.  Cars today run on gasoline, not barley.  While you're at it, check the breaks, the cadillac converter and the transmixer.  One more thing, have somebody watch as you drive this car forward because that particular model has a tendency for the back wheels to move forward under that condition.

They loan to people with poor credit histories.

What were the terms of your written warranty on this 10 year old car?

Did your contract state "as-is?"

Sorry you're having problems with your purchase, but this happens a lot with this type of dealer.
