Legal Department of Crime Prevention Cash Advance USA Harrassment yulee, Florida
I had been receiving phone calls from an "Unavailable" number who was leaving messages on my voicemail stating, "they are calling from the department of crime prevention and I'm accused of oweing a debt, that my case file was in front of them and I'm the primary suspect to a crime". Those were their words exactly.
Then I got on the computer and googled it, I found a report on here saying they are a cash advance place. I couldn't believe it. So I called the number they left on my voice mail, and told them that if they call me again, I'm pressing charges for harrassment. They tried asking for my phone number, but they must have had it because after they hung up on me, I called them 4 more times after that, and they just picked up the phone and hung up on me.
The most screwed up part is, I've never given any cash advancement place my information. Also, they are illegal in the state I live in, they are from Florida. And I seriously thought I was in some sort of trouble when I listened to this message, was concerned and freaked out.
There should be something we can do about this company, they are using scare tactics and harrassment to get people to call them back.
If this should happen to you, please report this. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to do what they do and get away with it.
