We are going to the beach in Step. at N Myrtle Beach. My family and I purchased a package deal from Leisure Connections/Global Connections for discount room stays. We also got a FREE trip to Orlando for closing on the deal that day. When we called to book the vacation they stated "we don't show a free vacation, the person who gave you the vacation no longer works here. When I asked why does it matter if he works there anymore customer service stated the sales person has to sign off so we can get free vacation. Over 20 calls made and no one cared and I gave up. So now it's time to book our vacation and was shocked at the price Leisure/Global Connections stated we must pay. After all the fees, taxes and other charges the trip will cost more then booking the room ourself's. When I asked Customer Service about the pricing they stated that we are going in PEAK season and we are saving lots of money. I called the same place they booked for us they told me peak season is over and they did not know why we were told it was Peak season. When calling back they stated "it's peak season for them they did not care what they stated. When I asked when is peak season over for Leisure/Global Connections they stated and I repeat Dec and Jan and last 2 weeks in Nov. If we did not like that we should have never signed the contract. When I told her my contract stated 2ne week in Step starts the peak season in my contract and that is what I signed up for she told me well not anymore. I told her that they are breaking contract she told me They can change contract at anytime. I have now contacted BBB and looking to sue.
