Lennar Everything Included, Specially the Low Quality! Davenport Florida
The sales experience started amazingly well, we visited a model home where they show you all the technology used in building the house and how environmental free the design should be. Then they advertise the famous "ei" - Everything Included concept, for appliances, garden, Golf, Clubhouse etc.
We closed the deal around September/2013 and moved to the house around June/2014. For the first months everything ran smoothly but we started to observe how low quality the appliances were (washer and Dryer). The dryer wouldn't dry the clothes for nothing and the energy bill was spiking. The Dishwasher also performed poorly.
After 6 months living in the house (and for our disgrace after the extremely short 1 year warranty) we stated to see problems accross the house. The dryer duct was clogged with construction debrees, we had an infiltration in one of our restrooms leading to mold and the need to replace the drywall, and our air-conditioning system failed twice, leading for a need to replace the motor with less then 2 years of usage!
My mother in law also has a house next to mine and she also had trouble with her airconditioner motor. She also had problems with plumbing and leaking of her dishwasher, damaging the kitchen cabinet.
I'm not looking forward to what can happen in the next five years, but in Summary these Lennar homes are very expensive and pretty in design, but it construction and materials used are very cheap, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
