I have been using this company for over 20 years. I wouldn't think of taking my car anywhere else. While a mistake had been made (I have never heard of a car company that puts a spare on a $250 rim, but I will give you the benfit of the doubt...There are some things that could have been done to avoid this in the first place. 1. I never sit inside and eat free popcorn while work is being done on my car.. I always watch. 2. You should check your spare regularly to make sure there is air in it... I do it every time I change my oil. You don;t want to be stuck with a flat spare. 3. ANY time that you have work done on your car, anywhere... always have them show you the screwed up part.. be involved! Really, how can you expect, that if they were at fault, they would still have the wheel rim around 6 months later? Can you imagine how many people would call up and claim something like that just to get $250 bucks? I myself pull up with a flat, they fix it and I drive away. I have never done paperwork at a Les Schwab. Good luck, but as upset as you are on this one... you are as much at fault as the tire company.
