Complaint Review: Let Them Live Rescue - Taylorsville Kentucky

 This does not surprise me! If you check out Michele's Rescue, the two of them work together, or at least did and have worked together a LOT. The both of them I have personally delt with. They both tried to say things about me and taking me to court for slander. Both these ladies like to use court vocabulary to scare people out of telling the truth about them. They are doing this to themselves. Its a shame that these two horrible rescues are working together to make life miserable for people who want to adopt and even volunteers and fosters have fallen victim to these two basket cases. I have seen it first hand, they both steal, lie, and don't do right by animals! Its funny, they tried to bash me, but the only people basing me was them! No one fell into their traps about false info about me. Its amazing that there are so many people out there with nasty stories of these two rescues! I have even tried to report them to the news and am working on that right now. Michele recently took a dog from a shelter that attacked three people, said she was a dog trainer, got money for the dog to help it, and then turned around and euthanized it! Fraud! I have seen the two of them pocket money and go out drinking with "adoption money!" Everything they do wrong, they blame other people for! I could go on and on, but it would be a book. You can find reports here of Michele's Rescue as well. Those who have not worked close to these ladies will defend her. Once people are well educated about these two rescues the world will be a better place. If you disagree with this, do your homework and look into what they have done and continue to do. How about you people who "like" her or swear she does a good job, why don't you become volunteers and see what they are like. I can say I have seen it first hand and that matters more than those who THINK they know.

Jody don't know it, you are deep in the Koolaid and you don't even know what flavor it is! Amy I mean Jody.. what is up with the hate you are spewing out of that hole. Shocked... look in your mirror then you will really be shocked. 

Can you see beyond your condescending nose to the non-fiction side of this Rip Off report? What evokes the hostilty and ill-will you are broadcasting to others? Are you that ugly inside from your hate?

Amy Verder has not only taken money from these people but she is a convicted felon in Chesterfield Co, VA. docket #041CR05F0186202. Have you smelled the coffee yet? I doubt it so let give you some more identity fraud VA, and larceny VA. LARCENY definition THEFT. THEFT THEFT. Get it?

Lady you have a problem. No one is talking about Verder's family but you. You are throwing them under the bus no one else has brought them up.  This is about someone that has a pattern of lying and stealing. REAL WORLD! not Amy's constant changing devious embellishments. 

Sheba dead dog. And since you know Amy so well you will know what that means. 

As a 2x adopter from this rescue I am shocked by the hate.  It is appauling that so many lies can be spread about one such as this lady and her family. what a shame that anyone can use the internet as a slanderous stalking tool.

I have been countless times to this rescue and she is hard working dedicated and loving to these animals. 

Your airing your gossip here is proof tha social media is a joke and that anyone can slander lie and promote their own ego's anywhere anymore.

Grow up ladies if your seriously that concerned about this rescue and the amazing work they do then maybe you should do a little volunteer work yourself... wait right......your life it to involved in whatever this is that your doing. It is so easy when you look at the people here.. Your likely no lifers that got your feelings hurt either ugly fat no sex life - wait is that hitting home to you all....

and one of you I have seen alot on and all the blogs you have on all these different people.  and Mr. Mario I assure you this.. Amy is a great rescuer and if you knew her you would know that and likely your dislike would have to be this dingbat that lies to see her lips move. Did you know that there is one woman on her Mario that is saying they do not attack you that all it takes is time and you will see her lips moved or her fingers typed and she lied..  She is also the person that has a website with you mentioned in it and a blog with this rescuer mentioned in it.  I read somewhere she is the bad penny that is tossed out the window and still rolls on back like a hair ball.  She is the woman that lied on two adoption applications.

New Hope Pet Rescue, I am very sorry that you have been burned by Amy Verder and Let Them Live Rescue. Sadly, I do not find this surprising at all. I hope that you will pursue legal action against her as that is your best chance of recovering the funds that she owes you. She has been proven to be a despicable person of very questionable character and an extremely bad rescuer. I wish you the best of luck with your case and if I can help you in court in any way, I would be happy to do so.

I had a similar experience with this very disturbed individual. In 2010, about a month after I met Amy Verder, she called me in a panic and claimed that one of her dogs was at the emergency vet with some sort of stomach issue (I believe it was a blockage of some sort) and needed immediate surgery to correct the problem. She said she could not be treated without a certain amount of money being paid in advance. She claimed that her husband was out of town and that she did not have any cash, credit cards or access to her bank account and could not reach her husband by phone. She acted very distraught.

At the time, I believed her story and I wanted to help her to save her dog so I asked my mom if I could use her credit card to pay the $200+ bill as long as Amy agreed to immediately reimburse me. My mom agreed and Amy promised me that she would pay me back immediately. I made Amy aware that I had promised my mom that I would have the money from her to reimburse my mom within 2 weeks. Amy assured me that I would have the money from her by that time. I paid the emergency vet bill over the phone that night. Her dog presumably had the surgery and she was fine after this.

Amy claimed that she had mailed a cashier’s check to me for the $200-something dollars I had paid on her behalf. The check never arrived. After a couple of weeks, I asked Amy about it and verified that she had used the correct address. Amy said that she would send me another cashier’s check and later assured me that it was “in the mail.” That check never arrived either.

By this time, I was feeling uneasy and worried because I didn’t have the money to reimburse my mom myself and I had promised my mom that she would be reimbursed weeks before this. Unfortunately, I ignored the fact that this was a huge red flag, much to my regret later because eventually I discovered that she is pure evil and not at all who she pretends to be. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I should have ended my so-called friendship with her at this point in retrospect.

Amy wanted me to visit her at her home in KY and I agreed to take off work and make the trip, which was many hours away. I confronted her about the money again on the phone though first. She assured me that she would pay me the money she owed me in person (vs. mailing me a check for the third time). I was there for 5 days and not once during that time did she mention the money that she owed me or make any attempt to pay me back. Finally on my last day there, shortly before I had to leave, I told her that I needed the money she owed for the vet bill that I had paid for her.

She retrieved an envelope with cash inside and handed it to me. I did look at it before I left and it appeared to be the correct amount, but when I gave the money to my mom the next day, she informed me that it was $11 short of what she was owed. I paid the difference myself immediately and I never mentioned this to Amy as I didn’t want to make an issue of it. It did aggravate me though because I shouldn’t have had to wait for approx. 6 weeks to be reimbursed, to have to go to such effort to collect the money, or to have to pay part of it myself.

I tried to be a good friend and to help save a dog’s life. Amy used me and placed me in a bad situation where I was not able to keep my promise to my mother that she would be reimbursed within 2 weeks. She never apologized for this or seemed to take it very seriously.

Amy has a felony conviction in VA for larceny from 2006. We are not the only ones she has attempted to steal money from and I feel certain there are many others who have fallen for her lies and ended up losing their hard earned money to this con artist.

Mario, I’ve seen your other posts about this and I will repeat what I stated earlier. I don’t know where you get your info (I have some theories) but you are way off with the lies you post about me. I officially ended my association with Amy Verder on 7-1-2011 (it was posted on my page and I took a screenshot) and I do regret that I once believed she was a good rescuer. I know now of course that nothing could be further from the truth. I regret that I ever had anything to do with her as it was a huge mistake. You should be able to relate since you were associated w/a known scammer yourself (Diane Campbell).

Furthermore, I have never once said anything about you and dogs. I have no idea who this woman is that you’re referring to with the 4 dogs that were PTS. I have never written you about this or called you a dog killer in any way. You are either flat out lying, or you are believing BS that someone fed you, or someone impersonated me (which is the kind of crap that Amy does btw) and you assumed it was me. Either way, it never happened.

You blocked me in 2010 after I told you in a group PM that you were out of line for going off on Erik who did nothing to you and shortly after that you blocked me. I’d only known you for approx. 2 weeks. Since then, you have continually posted lies about me with no proof whatsoever. If you feel that you are right about the crap you say, then where is your proof? You have none. You could not because there is simply no truth in your claims.

I have told people whoever asked me to stay away from this BAD APPLE..I hve known for several years she was bad when she and one of her minions Crystal Harley accused me of turning in an animal rescuer for having too many dogs and that animal control  cme to this womans house and seized her dogs and 4 of them were PTS ..NONE of this true..the only thing that is true is that BOTH of these individuals are BAD NEWS..Time is a great exposer of the truth and of a person's character and I knew it would just be a matter of TIME before she gets what she deserves and hopefully the other as well..these are bad people and I for one hope she/they are banned from animal rescue..
