Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
When signing up over the phone I was led to believe that my credit repair service was going to be expedited faster "take advantage of additional legal interventions", "No matter how many items you have to dispute, you will only be charged our low monthly fee. Lexington Law gives you unlimited disputes and unlimited deletions at no additional charge". I was then told they will only dispute a limited amount every dispute period which I was never given a clue on when it begins and ends. I was told by a paralegal that "it is illegal to dispute more than 5 items at a time", I mentioned to him that no were on the FCRA does it give a set limit and he turned around basically said go pound sand is that part of the Lexington Law Firm plan, "Employees are encouraged and empowered to test new methods and ideas, even if these ultimately fail". They do not return emails they have phony email addresses that you can't respond to. Phone calls are ignored, you never get a chance to speak with your paralegal it always someone who is clueless reading notes, which causes false advertising as to "For over fifteen years, our credit report correction attorneys have practiced under the Lexington Law banner, establishing us as the largest and most trusted credit repair firm in America" "provide outstanding customer service" . I was told that my $99 sign up fee included my first month. I had only been a member for a month and cancelled, I was then told I would be charged for the previous month, so that means the sales person/paralegal lied. One more thing "Firm-prepared letters, customized for each questionable inquiry you designate, are provided" ok they give you generic letters that you have to complete and mail out yourself. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LEXINGTON LAW TO ANYONE! I took matters into my own hands and deleted 17 negative so far on my own in 2 weeks!

As a personal note I was advised by http://www.creditmonitoring.citi.com were I am a member that my credit report had a mixed file and i should just contact them direct. I tried for several weeks before hiring Lexington Law Firm but had no luck. I actually was able to use the online dispute process to do some of the work. When I received conformation for the 17 deletion there appeared a phone number that i was able to call and talk to a live person at Experian were most if the mix up is. I was assured that my credit file will be updated.

It's not they I have bad credit that I decided to use Lexington Law Firm. It's that I have many items on my reports that are not mine! I have a very common name. In my state there are over 50 people with my first and last name. I did explain to the sales man/paralegal what my situation was before signing up for the service. I guess they hear that all day "the information on my credit is not mine", in this case it is true they could have helped me quicker and added to their stats all the results but I guess the bottom line is profit were if they drag out the process they would make more money.

BBB Case Desired Resolution.

Dispute process expedited quicker at least 3 per week per credit agency. Have 1 weekly phone call with email recap on what is going on and what is planned to help me. Dispute all inquiries that are inaccurate with proper letters. or complete refund including the signup fee.

I will post the results as they come about.

I was told by a paralegal that 'it is illegal to dispute more than 5 items at a time',(which is correct to an extent i worked for expierian as well prior to working for lexington, they trow out dispute letters if you send more then 5 at a time) They do not return emails they have phony email addresses that you can't respond to.(i've never had an issue contacting my paralegal) false advertising as to 'For over fifteen years, our credit report correction attorneys have practiced under the Lexington Law banner, establishing us as the largest and most trusted credit repair firm in America' 'provide outstanding customer service'(this actually has been proven correct by the bbb) ok they give you generic letters that you have to complete and mail out yourself.(the letters that are sent to you to complete, are dispute letters for inquiries, they HAVE to be signed by you no way around that) I took matters into my own hands and deleted 17 negative so far on my own in 2 weeks!(not possible, the processing takes longer then that, it take 4 to 5 days to gt to the credit bureaus, there is half of your 2 weeks already then they have to contact the creditors to have them verify the items.)
