lexington law I paid Lexington Law and they made my score go down. I am worse now than I was before they worked for me. internet internet
They ruined me.
I used the free credit score place called Credit Karma and recieved my score. On their site was a company called Lexington Law. I am told no afilition. I called Lexington Law and hired them at just short of 100.00 a month to fix my credit. No guarantee is impled or expected. So far so good.
What they dont tell you is they dispute at 3 credit report companys. For each dispute of yours they count as 3 disputes and they only dispute 1 at a time per month. so it takes them 3 months to dispute 1 thing for me. Plus they only do a limited amount of disputes a month. They tell you on the phone they are 3 things involved in your credit score. 1 is your credit to debt ratio. 2 is your credit history, each counts as a third of your score. Well they work on your history each month. I have a bankrupsy that is 9 years old and still on there and they didnt dispute that till I raised hell. needless to say its still on there.
The reason I am mad is they made my score go down from mid 675 to 603 and I did nothing at all except pay my bills. I wouldnt even let anyone check my score because I didnt want any inquires. They will tell you that it is my job to pay my credit cards down so I have a better debt to credit ratio. In other words you have more credit than debt on your cards.The problem when they argue on my behalf the credit cards lowered my credit limits on my cards and now I owe the limit on my cards and that lowerd my score. lexington Law took my money and my score is lower.
My friend used a different company and in 6 months went from 590 to 803 for 600.00
If you use Lexington Law your an idiot. You have been warned. This is what happened to me. Maybe it wont happen to you. it might be worse.
