LG Autos (lgautos.net) located in Roy, Washington, outside of Seattle is a "rent to own" used car dealer that over prices their vehicles significantly above Kelly Blue Book values and does not require credit checks.
The company offers X number of year leases with or without down payment and requires no credit check. A quick review of the company's inventory shows these cars for "rent to own"
1998 Buick Aurora with 130,000 miles
Their Price After Down Payment and 3 year "lease": 10,000
Kelly Blue Book Value: 3985 (excellent condition)
2002 Jetta with 141,000 miles
Their Price After Down Payment and 3 year "lease": 13,600
Kelly Blue Book Value: $5,100 (excellent condition)
1999 Mercury Villager with 130,000 miles
Their Price After Down Payment and 3 year "lease": 11,800
Kelly Blue Book Value: $5115 (excellent condition)
These examples (nearly half of their inventory) show that LGAutos "rent to own" program charges more than twice what a vehicle is worth. If you're going to buy a car, protect yourself by doing your own research. Start with www.kbb.com and www.carfax.com. Don't deal with dealers who assume you don't know what a car is worth and will take advantage of you.
FYI - with a decent credit score, and over the course of a 5 year loan, a $10,000 loan costs about $200 per month to pay back.
