Wish I could give this criminal enterprise less than 1 star. (and I'm being kind here) They do the "bait-and-switch" on their rates, low ball the first year, then raise rates for no reason at all. Wish I would have shopped around much sooner. Non-existent customer service if you want to talk to an actual human. On almost all of the "hard copy" documentation they send in the mail, they have DELETED contact phone number information. Recorded messages always tell you to "go to the website".
There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints about this company to be found on the web, yet they continue to rip people off. Instead of wasting $MILLIONS on stupid, inane, racist & sexist TV commercials, how about hiring actual customer service people, providing actual customer service, and paying out legitimate claims instead??

Yes, contacted the State Insurance Commissioner, filed complaint. They were less than helpful, and seemed to side with the insurance company's "opinion" of "at fault". Meanwhile, still NO response to my requests for all associated paperwork from this incident, including (likely bloated) body shop invoice from the vehicle that was damaged.

Filed a complaint about this incident with State of CA Insurance Commissioner's office. They were less than helpful. Hiring an attorney would be doubtful as they cost more than the $$$damage done to me. Would join a Class Action against LMI if someone out there starts one.

Please contact your State Insurance Commissioner with your complaint . They can get documents from Insurance company and investigate your claims and get you resolution to this.
