Liberty Wide Group rip-off! Newark Delaware
I was contacted by Liberty Wide in October of 2003 with a offer of a limit of at least $1000.00 if not more depending on credit after they receive my $279.00 deposit. The offer also including a Sprint phone, so I accepted since I was in the middle of repairing my credit. Months had past and I didn't hear anything from them, so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I tried calling them several times a day to speak to a live person, but would only get voice mail and never receive a call back when I did leave messages.
I finally received a pkg with the applications for me to fill out in the mail back in January and did so thinking they must have been behind and had intentions on sending my card. I sent it off in February of 2004 and still have not heard anything from them today. It's way to late for me to try to get my money back from my bank, but I would ADVISE anyone that is considering accepting a card from Liberty Wide not to do so. I'm glad to have ran into this website to see I'm not alone and wished I would have done this research before I gave them my account #.
