Limestone Co. DHR My son was falsely accused of harming Adrianna Kelley 2 years ago. Michelle Kelley ( Adrianna's mother) and my son, Josh Temple have been trying for two years now, to get her back into her mother's custody. They have been given the run around since. Adrianna STILL is not with her mommy. Athens AL,
Michelle Kelley(and our whole family) has been repeatedly lied to by Lashoda Pride, the case worker at Limestone Co. DHR. I have witnessed verbal abuse toward Michelle by Lashoda. Lashoda will give Michelle things to work on in order to get her child back. After Michelle completes these tasks MORE and MORE things keep coming up for Michelle to do. All the while, Michelle AND THE CHILD, have been told Adrianna can come home. Then, at the next court date, Lashoda brings up many, many more Michelle needs to complete. This leaves the mother and child confused and hurt. I have also been denied any access to all meetings and court, except one. Michelle has asked for me to be there so i could help explain things to her better than Lashoda or her supervisor Penny.
However, anyone from Adrianna's foster family has been allowed to attend and speak their mind. My mother,sister, Michelle and I have all given Lashoda the correct numbers to reach Michelle. Loshada claims she can never get in touch to let Michelle know important dates by lying how Michelle don't answer phone or we don't give messages to Michelle. Lashoda never calls Michelle back after she leaves her a message. But, the foster family has Lashoda's cell number. Michelle was denied the cell number after she asked for it. In short, this has caused much confusion and heartache for the mother and child by causing them to miss visits with each other.
Basically, Adrianna was taken from her mother, on mother's day, 2 years ago for no reason other than a lie. The woman that lied admitted she lied and has apologized over and over for this. That day was the first day the 2 had been apart. While Michelle and I rarely see eye to eye I will always swear she was a terrific mother. She and her baby girl have a bond so strong, it amazes me. I will do ANYTHING I can to get Adrianna back to her mother, where she begs to be. Where she belongs. This poor child thinks it's her fault they took her. She begs and cries how she will be good if she can live back with her mother. There are SO MANY more wrong doing in this situation It would take me about4 hrs.to explain it all. We need some help getting my grandbaby home. Please someone care enough to help.
