In case you've missed the news in the past year, the company filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and then proceeded to liquidate their stores in October of 2008. No one is answering your phone calls, because no one is at the office. The company does not really exist anymore. They're completely owned by the liquidation company. I'm not even sure why the website is still taking orders when every store across the country should have been completely liquidated by now. The plan was for all stores to close by December 31, 2008. I sincerely doubt that they will charge your card when they aren't even in business anymore. No one is going to use your credit card information in the mean time, because there is no one who is receiving the information. I'm not even sure how you got a hold of anyone in the first place, because even us as former employees when the store closed couldn't reach anyone at corporate for our undelivered checks for weeks.

CALM DOWN!?!? Customer service should be #1 right now in this economy!! Yes I did call that many times. What if I DON"T want my credit card charged? What if I want to go buy another comforter, but can't afford it if another get's charged unexpectedly because a company 2 months or later decides to finally ship something!? Besides the POINT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Telling me to CALM DOWN shows even worse customer service!! Shouldn't a company spend time calling back possible reacurring customers & not responding to a rip off report just saying CALM DOWN!!!!!!!

You called Linens N Things 48 times in 3 days? What good is that going to do you, other than wasting your time? Once your item is delivered, just return it. No big deal. This is not something you should get frustrated about.
