Lipoban Carban ripoff granny robbers theft fraudulent billing dishonest Boca Raton Florida
I have tried all my life, all 21 years of it, to lose weight. I am 5ft 10inches, and I weigh 295 pounds.
One day, I saw an ad for something called Lipoban. I sent away for information about the product, and it arrived in about a week. It sounded too good to be true.
I decided not to order the product, because I didn't have the money. My grandmother said she would put it on her credit card, and I could pay her back for it. It sounded reasonable, especially since I had recently gotten an offer for Carban and Lipoban for the price of one.
I called 1 800 444 0629 and placed an order with an online operator in mid October. They said it would take 72 hours to process, and 7 to 10 days to deliver. It never came.
Today, 11/11/04, I decided to call their customer service center at 561 995 0889 and ask where my pills were. I got a recorded message saying that number had been disconnected. I then called the number I used to place my order, and that number didn't even ring.
I went to the company web page, www.lipobansolution.com, and the site had nothing on it. Just a big blank space. No writing, no links, no nothing.
I am furious. These people just toyed with peoples dreams just so they could make a few dollars.
Even worse, they stole from my grandmother.
How can you look in the mirror every morning, knowing you stole from innocent people who just wanted a bit of peace from thier own insecurities?
