Liquid Nutrition Chantal Chamandy Greg Chamandy Liquid Nutrition Rips Off Franchisees STAY AWAY Montreal, Quebec City, CA Nationwide
Chantal and Greg Chamandy have a fledgling smoothie franchise, mostly in Canada. There are multiple lawsuits against them by franchisees. They have filed paperwork declaring they may file for bankruptcy.
I was considering this franchisee and they invited me out to Discovery Day in Montreal where their headquarters are located. I also visited stores in Toronto as part of my due diligence. Days before I was to attend the event in Montreal, they inexplicitedly canceled the event. I had paid for airfare, train expenses, taxi expenses, hotel, and other costs. I incurred $400 in airline change fees alone because I had to cancel the fight.
I politely requested from Chantal (owner's wife) that she reimburse me HALF of these expenses. She said no as if this were at all my fault. They don't care about anyone, but their pitiful company which I doubt will be in business in a year. Save your money. MUCH better franchise alternatives out there. These are shady people with a franchise scraping by. Avoid them, their products and their stores like the plague.
