Today is June 24, 2010 and in todays newspapers it is reported this woman lawyer took over $50,000. from trust and used funds for vacation in Mexico and to purchase new office furniture. The police according to news reports have her monitored with ankle bracklet because they consider her to be a flight risk? The Fla. bar has been notified but claims the woman can still legally practice "law"!!!

Updated. Upon reading this rip-off report I have found many errors, they attorney in question is only 30+ years of age, therefore I have no understanding of how she had informed this person of her never losing a case in 30 years... this would have been almost from birth. In any emergency guardianship there is hardship, there are always going to be issues within the family, and may be why the case was not resolved in a manner the "client" preferred. In any case, the person they may have met with to begin with would have been a paralegal, or a office manager of the firm. They would have never claimed to be an attorney, as there are specific laws against doing so.From all accusations stated in this report, I am assuming this is a client whom did not give a full and accurate statement regarding the law firm. I have worked for the firm since 2005 and have never seen such accusations and am fully aware the firm and attorney in question has NEVER had such accusations arise. The firm is extremely family oriented, very small town friendly. |

They would have never claimed to be an attorney, as there are specific laws against doing so, which could result in the attorneys loss of bar license, which is a chance no person from the firm would take in any case. $8500.00 seems a little steep for a guardianship, the normal charge is anywhere from 1500- 2500 depending upon the complexity of the case. From all accusations stated in this report, I am assuming this is a client whom did not give a full and accurate statement regarding the law firm. I have worked for the firm since 2005 and have never seen such accusations and am fully aware the firm and attorney in question has NEVER had such asinine accusations arise. The firm is extremely family oriented, very small town friendly and bases the majority of the cases on a contingency basis (if you don't get anything, neither do we). Before reading and basing your entire opinion on the report, do your own research.
