Once again, the big company rips off the individual.  On May 3, I ordered tickets to a concert on April 29.  My receipt indicates that I did not request special (read expensive) shipping.  But the customer service clone I spoke to said I did ask for 2nd day UPS delivery so they charged me $19.50.  When I tried to explain that I did not order rush delivery of tickets I won’t need for two months they started to read from a script.  "Unfortunately you did this and there is nothing we can do because the tickets have already been sent."  Over and over they repeat the same thing until they wear you down and piss you off.  That’s their idea of customer service.  It is like talking to a tree trunk.

Ticketmaster is a first order of magnitude, genuine rip off.  They don't want to help because they have you by the balls and they know it.  The artists that use this bunch of thugs should get wise to the fact that this company is raking in profits with outrageous “convenience charges” and customer dis-service.

Unfortunately, people have few options to avoid the “Ticketmaster scam” unless you want to buy tickets at a higher price from a reseller.  These greedy, heartless leaders of Ticketmaster  have created a fool-proof system to which you have virtually no recourse if you think there has been an error.  The sick part of all of this is that they consciously designed the system to be this way – it looks good on the surface, but there was never any intention of providing positive customer service.

Don’t trust Ticketmaster to do the right thing for their customers.  They won’t!!
